“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.”
The hardest thing about traveling is moving on to the next chapter, or the “next best thing.” You make relationships with people that leave a lasting impression on your heart and they share with you a piece of their soul. The people who you meet and then later say goodbye to show you that there is kindness and love in the world, and all you have to do is get yourself out there and find it. I strongly believe that there is an energy that connects us all, and that we are attracted to certain places at the right moments to meet those people who change our life forever.
Kara Renee Burns – A beautiful, strong, caring, determined, and inspiring woman. We have had so many laughs, tears, memories, scolds, drunken exploitations, smiles, and moments where our breaths have been taking away. This is my tribute to her and our life-long friendship that we have created during this small period of our lives spent at Rendola. A friend once told me that she did not like saying “Goodbye.” Instead, she would rather say “See you later.” I agree with her, in that “Goodbye,” means bye forever, where “See you later” gives you hope of spending more time with the person. You are really not saying goodbye anyways, as that person is now forever with you in your memory and soul. Today I will say “See you later” to my dear friend Kara.
